I was so very honored to be invited to a special Thanksgiving Dinner event at Whole Foods Market in Danbury. The event was for local food bloggers only which made me feel extra special to be asked to attend. The Whole Foods theme for the event is Share the Cheer! So, I’m sharing. 🙂
Whole Foods Market prepared an AWESOME Thanksgiving menu for us!
Miss Deanna made sure all of bloggers were taken care of and that everything was just right.
The first appetizer was a platter of delicious crab cakes. Slightly crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and delicious all over. A really tasty bite. The large one is how you get it when you order them for your holiday table.#sharethecheer
The second appetizer was Brie en Croute … It looked beautiful, baked with cranberry and apple chutney on top. Personally, At 7 years old I’m not sure my taste buds are mature enough for Brie, but all the adults thought is was great.
We were also treated to these Tornado Shrimp, which are amazing sweet potato wrapped shrimp with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. I love sweet potatoes and I love shrimp, so guess what? I loved this dish! You can order these too for your holiday party.
Chef Adam prepared a turkey masterpeice for us then put on a really cool demonstration on the right way to carve and serve your Thanksgiving Turkey.
Here is the before.
- The dinner menu included,
- Gardein stuffed turkey (Vegan)
- Green beans with almonds
- Mashed Potatoes
- Mashed Maple Sweet Potatoes
- Made in-house Stuffing
- Cranberry Orange Relish
- Pumpkin Bread.
Here is what I thought about the Cranberry Orange Relish.
Naturally I had to review the star of the meal. See what I thought of the Turkey with In-House Stuffing.
My friends at Whole Foods know how much I love sweets so they gave me a slice of all three on ONE big plate! My personal favorite was the Apple Crisp but you can go wrong with either one.
From appetizers to desserts the entire meal was #BamGood ! Thank you so much Whole Foods, for letting me be a part of your holiday celebration.
This Thanksgiving, whether you need a tasty addition or the whole feast, look no further than your local Whole Foods Market and don’t forget to #SharetheCheer !
